SALARY: $130k-$150k (depending on experience)

THE DEPARTMENT

The following teams make up the Technology department: Business Analysis and Quality Assurance, Applications Development, Applications Support, and Engineering. The group identifies and develops technological strategies that support GVI's business goals and objectives to ensure internal and external partners are provided with stable systems. These include: all desktop, network, phone and email systems, applications (reservations and operations systems), websites, and Internet access.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in Angular to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of modern, responsive, and accessible web applications. You'll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences and scalable front-end architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Sr. Front-End Developer is responsible for the following results:

· Design, develop, and maintain complex front-end applications using Angular (v15+) and TypeScript.

· Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable code and components

· Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices and browsers

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features

· Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies

· Mentor junior developers and contribute to front-end best practices and standards

· Integrate with RESTful APIs and work closely with back-end teams to ensure smooth data flow

  • Follow GVI Technology standards for analysis, design, programming, testing, and support of software solutions
  • Seek to present zero defect products to the Quality Assurance and Production environments
  • Express ideas for process improvements to increase flexibility, reduce costs, and improve user experience

· Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing tasks as assignedContribute to the creation and adherence of best practice standards for analysis, design, coding, testing, and support of successful software solutions

· Provide support to the team, department, and company regarding architectural design and strategy

· Lead other developers to complete development projects

· Research and present recommendations regarding technology trends

· Promote positive relationships internally and externally

EDUCATION

The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience, or greater than twelve years related experience with the technology required.

Required Experience

The preferred candidate has noteworthy experience in the following areas:

· 8+ years of experience in web development, with a strong emphasis on Angular and front-end technologies

· Proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and component-based architecture

· Solid experience with C#, .NET Core, and building REST APIs

· Familiarity with SQL, Entity Framework, and LINQ

· Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices

· Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

· Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, xUnit)

Preferred Experience:

· Experience with server side programming, (e.g., c#, REST APIs, etc.)

· Experience with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx)

· Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker)

· Familiarity with other front-end technologies (e.g., React)

· Project development methodologies (full development lifecycle) with Agile/Scrum/DevOps experience
